- Missing 50% of his teeth due to age, specialized diet to prevent choking
- Some small melanoma growths, likely due to age and his gray coloring - checked twice a year by the vet
- Arthritic due to his age and sometimes needs anti inflammatory medications
- Progressive Ring Bone in the front legs, dealt with by special shoeing and some anti inflammatory medication
- Navicular in both front feet, dealt with by special shoeing

Casey
has a fantastic veterinarian who understands his "old age" needs, but
also understands that he's still able to keep going despite his advanced
age. Casey is sound most days and enjoys working, without a job Casey
wouldn't be with happy man that he is today!
Current Exercise program: 25-30 minutes daily of lunging or round pen work at the walk, trot and canter. Riding when sound, also at the walk trot and canter. Casey is able to get up and down from rolling in his stall and the turn out quite well.
